BoA poses with former Black Beat member, Shin Jae Won

Singer BoA revealed a friendly picture she took with agency family member, Shim Jae Won.
On July 10th, BoA uploaded the picture through her Twitter. She wrote, “Today’s flaring was cool. Thanks. My oppa”, leading many to wonder who this mysterious man was.
As it turned out, Shim Jae Won is actually a member of old-school idol group, Black Beat, who debuted under SM Entertainment. He is currently working as a choreographer and a club DJ.
In the picture, BoA and Shim Jae Won stand together with unique glow-in-the-dark rings. With his arm around BoA’s shoulders, Shim Jae Won showed that they shared a close relationship, and that the two genuinely had fun together.
Netizens commented, “They really look like siblings”, “It looks like an exciting party setting”, and “The two people look like they are having fun.”
